It is mandatory to update your Aadhaar number with the bank before 31st Dec'17. This is a regulatory requirement as per the revised Prevention of Money Laundering Act passed on 1st Jun, 2017; failing which, account will be frozen, till Aadhaar number is updated.

How to update your Aadhaar Number:

You can get your Aadhaar updated through any 1 of the below options

  1. Login to Internet Banking or Mobile Banking:(Click Here - https://my.idfcbank.com/start)
    Go to -> Service Request -> Create Service Request ->Aadhaar Update
  2. Send an email from your registered email ID to documents@idfcbank.com, along with self-attested copy of your Aadhaar. Mention your “Name” & “Customer ID” (mentioned on the 1st page of your cheque book) in the subject line of the email.
  3. Visit your nearest branch along with self-attested copy of your Aadhaar letter/card<./li>

Aadhaar number for minor accounts can only be updated through option 2 and 3.
